GAR is considered one of the finest, safest and most well equipped facilities in the country. Our coaches are former national and world champions who are respected throughout the gymnastic industry for their personal athletic accomplishments, as well as their coaching successes. We are proud of this reputation and work hard to exceed it every day. Our coaches, directors and staff receive continuing education in all aspects of their careers. We encourage your participation in your child’s education as well as the progressive improvement in our Academy.

Katlynn Dooley

Owner

My name is Katlynn and I am the owner of Gymnastics Academy of Rockford. My journey began here at GAR in 2019 when I became camp director. My brother Brandon has been an athlete here at GAR since he was a little one so I have been around the gym for quite some time. After I had my son in March of 2021 I took a position at the front desk that lead into the General Manager position shortly after. Sometimes life leads you down unexpected paths and in, July of 2022, I became the owner of Gymnastics Academy of Rockford.

A little about me: I was born and raised here locally. I grew up with my mom, step-dad, and three brothers. I graduated from Hononegah High School and pursued an online degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Western Governs University in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I recently got married to my husband whom I have a 3 year old son and 10 month old daughter with. I have the two most amazing step sons as well. I have a seasonal camper that I love spending my weekends at during the summer.

I am so blessed to be the owner of Gymnastics Academy of Rockford and love the relationships I have with my employees and customers.
