Gymnastic Academy of Rockford began in 1977 with 4,300 sq. ft. of space. Five locations later, we are proud to continue serving the Rockford community with over 40,000 sq. ft of fun! Since we opened our doors, GAR has been family owned and operated. In January, 2012, GAR opened Gymnastic Academy North, our second location in Roscoe, IL, offering many of the same program schedules and other activities that are offered in Rockford. In March, 2014, GAR opened our third location, GAR South Trampoline Park and GAR's Ninja Training Academy in 2017. 

 

Whether you are looking for great recreational classes or a world class competitive program, GAR is the place for you. The GAR coaching staff has produced over 1,000 Local and State Champions, 700 Regional Champions, 500 National Champions and 18 World Champions. We encourage and support all athletes to reach their own personal goal.

 

GAR is considered one of the finest, safest and most well equipped facilities in the country. Our coaches are former national and world champions who are respected throughout the gymnastic industry for their personal athletic accomplishments, as well as their coaching successes. We are proud of this reputation and work hard to exceed it every day. Our coaches, directors and staff receive continuing education in all aspects of their careers.
